Early Teal Follow Up

 It wasn't much of an Early Teal, but

we did manage one wood duck.  We

unloaded 8 shots on the poor bird.  When

I cleaned it, apparently only one pellet

hit it.  We all claimed killing the bird.

When we finally were able to retrieve

the bird, a turtle had deheaded it for

us.  

Getting the boat out of the marsh, we

broke one of the bunk boards on the

trailer and then got a flat tire.  But,

those things were only minor annoyances.

I was glad to be out hunting again and

proving that I still can hunt.  There was

some question after this summer's 

health shenanigans.
