Sadly now, I have something to write. A dear friend of ours, Marie Fernandez, died last week. The grief of her husband and children has crushed us as well. All week, I kept my tears locked up, but Sunday I faced Christ at His supper table. He cried at the death of His friend and I could no longer hide my tears from Him Who already knows what is in my heart. And, as Christ raised up Lazarus from the dead, we know that He will raise up Marie.

Yesterday, I received Jamie Soles' latest CD, _Ascending_. He sings the Psalms of Ascent from Psalm 120 "Woe is Me' up the mountain to God and Psalm 134 "Bless the Lord." The arrival of this album was late, but so well timed by God.
